No Swimming!

There has been an ongoing construction project over the last two months at the pool where I swim. They are installing a fairly large platform that will sit 10 feet above the water level. Since it is on a Marine Corps base, I suspect that this will serve as a testing and training place for swim qualifications and other readiness tests. As I arrived at the pool early this morning, a large crane was lifting the platform's base from a flat bed truck. Needless to say, it wasn't safe to have any extra swimmers around, so the pool was closed for the day. Hope we are back in business tomorrow.
