Waiting to be Fed

We have a blackbird who visits our garden and he knows that I put out meal worms for him every day. Here he is waiting on the wall for me to put out his breakfast. He doesn't fly away when I go into the garden but just watches from his position on the wall or in the nearby branches.


As you can see it snowed again overnight (about an inch) and it has hung around all day as the temperature hasn't got much above freezing. Lovely sunshine though and no wind so can't complain.
