The Waiting Game

One of those nights that most vets will emphasise with.
A beautiful big Scottish Deerhound with the dreaded torsion.
She's already an old girl for the breed but made it through surgery.
She's not out of danger yet as this is such a dangerous condition but we are all rooting for her.
It was a long night and a longer day without any sleep but I am sure we can't feel any worse than she does.
Although it was a beautiful day, the Blip is a phone Blip taken from my seat at 7am this morning, as I tried to doze whilst listening to her snoring.
Eventually, I gave up and crawled in beside her and snatched a half hour snooze. Much comfier than the chair!
