Left for dead

A colleague gave me this plant about a year ago. It was then a couple of droopy stems with a few withered, brown leaves. They were about to throw it out - complete with its rather splendid blue, ceramic pot! So I brought it home, chopped off the top of each stem (quite brutally) and gave it a little TLC...

This is another blip in a hurry as it's been yet another busy day. Bob, an old friend, came for lunch - it was lovely to see him for the first time in about 2 years. Had intended to go to a musical event with Mr M (who's taking part) this evening, but about to embark on some cleaning instead - someone's coming to view the house tomorrow!
