Tuesday 22 May 2012: Slubalub
This clay tortoise was made by my Dad some years ago and has been in various houses and gardens with us. He has suffered a few minor injuries over the years but has now found a happy spot on the front steps where he can keep an eye on comings and goings ... ... here he is enjoying the morning sun on his shell.
Is it just our family that call tortoises slubulubs? I think it came from Bill & Ben originally, but could be wrong ....
