Tuesday 22 May 2012: Knackered
This cushion on the sofa is about to have my head on it. Didn't get that job and my initial reaction was 'phew'. Then I felt full of energy and enthusiasm for all these projects that I had in mind for my time off, so thought I'd better crack on with them. Have been pretty much non-stop decorating today. Filling, sanding, priming, undercoating. And this DIY lark is quite physical, which I'm not used to. So now I have ground to a halt, run out of steam.
It's gorgeous warm weather, has been too hot to do outdoor stuff but so great to have windows and doors open and hear the birds so happy.
