Rainbow Monday

Rainbow lorikeets are about as far from Mono Monday as you can get. I did try to do MM – I photographed some broken china from my mosaic supplies (from when my parents' glass and china cabinet, full of antiques and family heirlooms, fell off the wall... that was a tragic day! It took me a very long time to sort it all out and I managed to mend a couple of pieces, but the rest became tesserae for future mosaics). But they were all very drab images, so I deleted them. 

This is the first time in many years that I have seen lorikeets on my feeder – they usually just fly overhead, to richer pickings. So of course I had to blip them instead.
