Stormy

There was a steady snowfall all day, with increased volume and plumpness as the day wore on. Fortunately, my friends were travelling by train as it would have been very difficult driving today. In fact, even the short drive to the train station was rather eventful as we had to take a quite few detours to switchback down the hill to avoid the slippery slidey slopey roads that my super duper snow tires could not grip.

I was relieved that the ladies made it safely on the train and that I arrived home intact. Lacey and I kept warm together curled up on the couch in front of the fireplace.
