Devotion

A girl and her dog were playing in the park near our house this evening. They were so obviously devoted to each other.

After "walking a few errands" this evening, I stopped in the park on the way home. Although it is relatively small, it is well used, even in winter, when the basketball court becomes an ice rink where little ones learn to skate, the slope behind the houses becomes a toboggan run that is perfect for tyke-size sleds, and the field becomes a meeting place where pets bring their owners for doggy play-dates.
