Scared!? Who...me?

I was so tired yesterday evening, I forgot to post a photograph. I had been on taxi duty during the day with our visiting family and while they visited friends I got to spend over an hour in one of my favourite places - Burnham Beeches. This is just one of the thousands of ancient dead and dying trees that make this nature reserve so special for wildlife, especially saproxylic insects. I think this one could be quite scary, looming through the mist or twilight.
