League Champions

12 teams of 2 x 7-a-side competing from Sept-May, playing each other twice. Little J's Team BJFF Blades and Poulton Youth tied at the top on 121 points each, both wishing to share the trophy and the title. The Poulton and District Primary League Committee decided there must be a play-off. Both Clubs appealed against this. The League insisted on a play-off so both Clubs came together at Poulton's home ground, Cottam Hall, Poulton for the show down....we came, we played, we conquered.....4-3 first game, 5-0 second (2 goals from little J :)
