Red sun in Pakse, Laos

Fagforbundet (Numge) support Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) project in Laos redusing the huge amount of  NPA is leading organiasation in  NPA in surveying and clearing cluster bombs, and in Laos it's about 80 million of them  - undetonated and spreading fear generations after generations after the war. Dropped by the USA forced during the Vietnam war.  Madness!

We arrived Pakse at sunset today after an exhausting and very long travel from Norway. The red sun over the Mekong river was a very pleasant welcoming. Tomorrow we will visit the working site in the Laogram District in Saravan, see the work in the Fields and also visit a village that are affected  by the cluster bombs.
