too clear for a nice sunset

didn't go anywhere today, still finishing up chores around the house
finally, at sunset time, a quick ride to beach to watch the sky, (forgetting that the pavilion gets so crowded at sunset it's hard to get a parking space). after the effort, it was a very "ho-hum" sunset, no color over the water at all. (this was the best of a small, sorry lot)
But it was still nice to watch the surf and feel the wind and forget about chores for a little while
