Green Woodpecker.

This afternoon I had a lovely long walk in Bushy Park with my little canine friend George.
I was so pleased to get this shot of a green woodpecker - a first for me which is why I chose this over the Black Headed Gull. This gull is sporting his summer plumage which I found surprising.
