Our own little Jurassic Park

Helping Jack with his photography project, we ended up shooting our monkey puzzle tree. Jack went for bold sky/tree shots, capturing its alien shapes beautifully all backlit by a vivid blue sky. 

I went macro, finding this fly trapped in hardened resin. Those of us who grew up watching Jurassic Park will enjoy the parallels. Who knows, one day, in thousands of years, it might be the star in a prehistoric fly exhibition park. What do you think?
