Salvage from the Wreckage

Hmm.
Had a headache this afternoon. Not too bad. Certainly not bad enough to stop me playing football. Which was unfortunate as I banged my face on someone else's head. I now have a fashionable bee-stung lip.

But never mind that! Look at this record from the CD library! What a gem! The write-up on the back of the EP is to be treasured. It gets quite poetic - "the sun shines on the rails as the 10-4-6 trunk engine begins the ascent of the climb to Enterling" but, at times, loses confidence in itself - "the second engine, possibly an 8-6-10, can be heard assisting the labours...".

It's mainly an instrumental but, on side 2, there are some vocals from the Stationmaster.

Record of the year so far.
