Wednesday 16 May 2012: North Bridge, Edinburgh by bus
Had several meetings in the city centre of Edinburgh to attend today, so decided to catch the bus in.
The view from the top of the 31 reminded me (as if I needed reminding) of the great view of the city you get from there. On the one side, you can see towards the Castle, over the top of Waverley Station. On the other side, you can see all the way down the Waverley Valley and beyond towards the sea. Sorry about the smudges/reflections, but you get the gist.
It was the evening meeting of the Edinburgh Cake Ladies this evening, so dear daughter and I went along. Tray bakes were the order of the day, so it was Mars Bar Crispie cakes by her and Orange and Cinnamon Squares by me.
