Thursday 24 May 2012: Reach for the Sky

Very exciting this morning at the boating lake. Some of the swans actually took to the air. Usually they're either snoozing on the bank or gliding sedately across the water.

I didn't really have the right lens and certainly not the right technique but here's the best of the aerial shots.
