Back on top of the world

This is my favourite kind of skiing..hiking up with skins away from it all, no machines, no people other than the five of us, unbelievable views and the silence of winter. Despite this being the warmest ski season on record with no fresh snow for weeks, we did find some pretty nice snow and had three amazing days by Mt. Assiniboine in the Rockies.
