Thursday 24 May 2012: Cooling Down
Spent a chunk of today trying to locate a motorway sign to photograph. I could see it from the motorway but actually finding a vantage point entailed a lot of zig-zagging around the streets of Glasgow's east end.
Whilst there, Rutherglen in fact, I chanced upon this timeless scene - young blokes cooling themselves via a 'burst' water main. In acknowledgement of the times we live in, I include the disclaimer that everyone is over 16, and all were quite happy to be in the photo. They told me the main had been like that since first thing this morning.
