Thursday 24 May 2012: Everyone's Gone to the Park
It's lunchtime. And the normally busy cafes, sandwich bars and eateries are deserted.
It's just too nice to be indoors.
Everyone it seems had gone to the park.
Girls in their dresses and boys in short trousers.
Lovers in pairs and alone with their poetry.
Drunks with their wine and mothers with bairns.
Workers with hi-viz and artists with easels.
I went too.
