I was up at the allotment to make the second application of the nematode worms that attack the slugs. Hope that does it, in terms of getting rid of the evil slimy gits (in a caring and organic way, of course!)
I noticed that the string of DVDs which I had tied up over the pea plants as a bird-scarer seems to have stopped the depredations of the fat, stupid, evil woodpigeons (in a caring and organic way, of course)
Today was pretty hot in Edinburgh, didn't you find?
