Pigeon shadow

It was a bright frosty start to the day. A paler sunrise than the vivid oranges of the other day but still beautiful.
Lots of birds singing especially two sparrows that were sitting in the hedge chirping away.
I really liked the way the shadows of the plants showed up on the pigeons feathers as it helped itself to the sunflower seeds. The feeders are being emptied really quickly at the moment and I have also seen the pine marten, a vole and a wood mouse also eating them.
You'll be pleased to hear that the horses have three large bales of hay to eat as the container has just been refilled. They get through it pretty quickly too !
