Thursday 24 May 2012: Very Quick Backblip

Yesterday was an odd day.
People everywhere until 1:30pm then silence descended on the house.
Left to do the rest of the work, wasn't easy but I managed it. My employers house looked like a bomb site with medical deliveries everywhere.

The reason behind the madness was an assessment that one of the other girls needed to have done.
But getting a person with spinal injuries out of bed alone is not good and I can't help but feel a lot of unnecessary pa-larva took place in the first few hours that I was there. Maybe the theory part could have been done away from the house???
We got a call from the person who should have helped me get my employer up and out of bed as she was 1/2 way home to say she'd remembered my employer was still in bed! Hmmmmmm

After eventually having my lunch at 3pm we headed out into the sun and to an appointment. The evening passed fairly quick and although I was due to finish at 9:3pm I stopped on till 10 to make sure my employer was safely tucked up in bed and comfy. Maybe I was making a point but I feel I would have stayed anyway.

Back in tonight for a night shift.

I am really enjoying being back working again. Some days are shit but hey everyone has days like that no matter what job they do :o)

My blip was an emergency one not only in the fact I hadn't had chance to take a pic but also that I remembered I hadn't got my brother a birthday card!!! Whoops and I'm normally so organised lol


Inside the card it said " ....Antiques like you are pretty valuable!!"
