Friday 25 May 2012: Scary stuff
Fire Number 9 is the largest in Canada.
It is over 23,000 hectares .
It is very close to Timmins .
Very high winds is not helping the situation.
Yesterday's smoke was horrible. The sun was a very deep red and the sky had a brownish hue.
My inhaler helped a bit.
Very high winds today also but the sky is blue this morning and the smell of smoke is almost gone.
The winds must have shifted .
I am praying that the situation will not worsen today .
Heading out to the trailer after work.
