Airmans Grave

From the blue they fell,
That fateful day long ago,
The trees roots run deep.

This is Airman's Grave on the Ashdown Forest  in Sussex.  It is a memorial to an air crew who perished here during the Second World War and has now become a symbolic memorial for all who have perished in war.
