Friday 25 May 2012: Tecoma capensis

Also known as Cape Honeysuckle, this fast growing, drought-resistant shrub, is a great addition to the bird and butterfly garden. They can be used as an informal hedge or planted singularly. They have stunning displays of bright orange flowers, that are tubular in shape, nectar rich, and loved by sunbirds, bees and burtterflies.
