A moment in time

Cooling fountain!

Another very warm day, we could get used to this!!! Started off duller than yesterday though, and the sun took a little bit to break through. We decided to make the most of the good weather and headed for the Isle of Bute, in the Firth of Clyde, as we fancied a wee sail and a walk along the coastal path. It was heavenly.

On arriving in Rothesay on the ferry we hopped on a bus to Ettrick Bay (after coffee of course) and then walked along the coastal path. The sun was shining the birds calling, the cows even looked content, and the wild flowers in abundance were waving in the slight breeze which was keeping us from being too hot. What to blip!!! There was so much.

Back in Rothesay, I liked the fountain and the palm trees on the front (palm trees in Scotland, would you believe), and so that is what you got!!!
