Nearly three

We will be away for the birthday so visited the family for tea tonight and give O his birthday present early. He got two books about the Gruffalo and a knife fork and spoon set. I wasn't sure about the latter gift but he was thrilled and they "worked well" for tea. His big brother read the books to him. There is an owl in the book and we spent a lot of time 'hooting'.

Somewhere between the ages of two and three children learn about opening presents.
