Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

At the Henry

Gorgeous day….H and I got out for a fine row this morning -  and then 7 of 10 (2 had to drop out at the last minute, it was almost 9 out of 10!!)) of my book club met for a very fun lunch (just happened to be D’s 77th birthday too!) and then to the Henry Gallery for our private tour of the Ann Hamilton show, that I have blipped before as we have been there with all the grandchildren.   But this blip needs to be of J, (in red jacket) who is the most wonderful “docent” for this most modern art gallery on the UW campus.  Actually there is no longer a docent program here but she can’t resist, she loves it so and travels all around the country to see very esoteric art installations…so she can tell us great stories!    I’ll link the other blips which tell about this interesting artist and exhibition in case you are interested.  This is the big gallery full of “bullroarers..”   I thought the cherry blossoms on campus might provide the blip today but they weren;t all out or they ae too old or something - just not up to par for today…

But you can see some on flickr
