A wee girl on a gate.....

When I was growing up, this ornament and it's partner sat on top of the piano.  My brother & I knew that on no account were we to touch them in case we should break them as they had been given to mum on her 21st birthday and were very dear to her.  Even now after all these years, I felt some apprehension as I picked this up off the piano to photograph it!

A really wild & wet west coast day and a visit to my cousin and his family.  We were in the same class all through school and so we are more like brother & sister in many ways.  Lovely to catch up.
