If it is too cold outdoors, then move inside!!

The knitting group is getting more interesting as we get to know each other and share info and ideas. There are about 40+ of us now and we are taking over more and more space in the Skywalker lounge on the 16th deck. It’s a long way up the stairs and makes me puff, but is good for the system!!

After dinner this evening B & I went up to the Skywalker Lounge for a drink. It functions as a nightclub in the later hours, but we were the only ones there, apart from the barman!! He was pleased to see us for company!!


The average age of passengers on this trip is probably older than us!! There are quite a number of “99 not out” ers and a good range of strollers to be seen!! (Strollers are zimmer frames with wheels, for those not familiar with the term). 

The passengers are mostly from Australia and New Zealand (not a surprise considering where we are) and a smattering from US, Canada and UK.  Surprisingly very few from China & Japan. Mostly they are a lively bunch, game for anything, with the odd exception!!
