A Nice Bit of Kit

I was having a bit of a clear out today and came across this old thing. My very first SLR camera. It must be over 35 years old. Everything about it is manual. It was a good way to learn.

I remember a friend showing me some of his photographs and I was very impressed by them. He recommended this camera as being a good one to start with at an affordable price.

I remember being impressed at the time that not only did it look like a proper camera it sounded like one too.

I have never been able to take photographs as good as the ones my friend took. But I have enjoyed my photography through the years.

Needless to say it has gone back in the cupboard.
