Saturday 26 May 2012: Glasgow Southside Festival Parade
I just had to post the shot of the vintage Tunnock's Van leading the Parade down Kilmarnock Road in Shawlands, just after 11 am. For the uninitiated, a link to a hint of a delicious Tunnock's Teacake.
We enjoyed the kilted pipe band; the trombones, trumpets, saxophones and drums in the jazz band; the Pollok Park Clydesdale Horses with carriage; old fire engines and buses; fancy dressed children and the Hare Krishna group dancing around.
24C in Glasgow today - really enjoying this blue sky spell, so I popped on my polarising filter.
For the locals, discovered the small Sainsbury's has reopened in the Shawlands Arcade.
