Spring macabre

A fantastic day today,
spring is here! 15 C in the sun and I walked barefoot in the garden for the first time this year :-)

Springtime is also a bit macabre.
The ice in the pond is cracking.
It appears that frogs come after the goldfishes have been taken care of.
I saw at least 8 dead frogs , and I guess there are even more.
I hope they will learn that the pond freezes during winter and they can't
survive there.

Nature is brutal to this prince charming.
