Hot day in Cumbria

Another very hot day today so took Bonnie and a friend's dog to Castlerigg Stone circle quite early for a circular walk from there into St Johns in the Vale, stopping off at Tewitt Tarn for lunch! I haven't done this walk for a couple of years and forgot about the stone step styles in the wall, there were 4 of them and it was really hard helping Bonnie over them which was a shame, but she loved having a paddle in the tarn!
