Monday 21 May 2012: Side by side
It's amazing how quick the bond between mother and baby forms.
These two have lay looking at each other all day.
CJ can't see mum, but he knows her voice and keeps looking in her direction.
Day 2 and S1 and I have already worked out that teamwork works for little CJ as well as it has for everything else we have done.
If he gets upset while I'm holding him, a quick hand off to his mum and curiosity takes over from the crying. Vice versa and a cuddle to my chest seems to wipe his tears away.
I've said thank you to S1 so many times. I know it's easy for new mums to hold their baby tight and not put them down. S1 has me 100% involved and that means so much to me.
