Friday 25 May 2012: The hidden story

Sometimes the blip isn't about the shot, it's about whats not in the shot.

Our little man has been grizzly in the heat all day. For his final feed before bed the house was a bit cooler and he was a lot happier.

So happy, he was out like a light.

Given how grizzly he had been, we didn't fancy moving him while he was down, so instead I brought S1 an ice cream to pass the time.

Here she was, in the cool of the summer evening, half naked, baby sleeping on her chest while she reach over him with one arm to type on her iPad while holding an ice cream in the other hand.

A perfect picture of the modern mum.
