Saturday 26 May 2012: Absent friends
Two weddings in two days. Nearly 3000 photos. I'm pooped, but elated too, I have totally loved it. I've felt very emotionally attached to both days, maybe because I'm less stressed than I used to be..still a bit nervous, but not fearful.
It's always hard to choose what to blip after a wedding. I've gone for a less obvious one here. I love the speeches...that's what it's all about, the chance for people to say what they never get to usually say. It often takes an official moment like this to egg us on to find the words. The toast to absent friends always brings a tear to my eye...I could hardly see to focus on this lovely bridesmaid, who was feeling pretty much the same.
