What Remains...

This is basically what's left of the stock from an antique store my husband and I used to run (mostly he - I was basically *the help*) called "Edison's Antiques." We specialized in lamps and lighting fixtures - both sales and repair thereof. He still repairs and restores lighting fixtures, but the shop is long gone. And yet... bits of it remain in our basement in a room of their own. I consider it, therefore, a derelict collection of what was once a store and am posting this blip for DerelictThursday!

You are perhaps getting a clearer and clearer grasp of the *stuff* problem chez nous - and the reason we'll never move. And the disaster our sons will face when we're gone! Oh, the horror...
