Sunday 27 May 2012: No Hill Too Steep, No Ditch Too Deep

We went to visit Errol and Takako this afternoon, and made very welcome by them and Euan and Tomo. The drive was a bit horrendous - it should have been about 25 mins and ended up an hour. First maniacs at the petrol station and then roadworks: I saw the above slogan on the recovery vehicle....

Anyway after a cool drink and a sit down we were feeling right as rain. Alexander made full use of numerous toys, as well as a paddling pool laid on for him, and a trampoline. Daddy and Errol drank some beers....

Here is Alexander being treated like a king in the car (he wasn't keen to relinquish the driver's seat) and getting a push from Tomo and Takako. It did look slightly like he'd gone into a ditch at one point. I've snuck in as well.

I'm off to bed, this weather is knackering....
