Friday 25 May 2012: Flower Stall
Finally back in the UK. Landed at Heathrow and then took the express into Paddington station to meet a friend for the day.
While I was waiting I took the opportunity to quickly snap a flower photo for the weekend blip challenge. Going to be having a weekend catching up with the boys so not sure how many other opportunities there will be.
Nice to see that the bunting is out all over London for the Jubilee and the Olympics.
Spent the day wondering around and having a few beers in the sun. Took a trip to the whisky society's London venue. Not anywhere near as nice as the two Edinburgh locations.
Had a nice dinner out and then back to a friends house for more whisky and a catch up.
Surprised myself by managing to stay awake for the whole day as I only managed to get about 4-5 hours sleep on the flight over from Boston.
This will be my entry into the weekend blip challenge for the word Flowers
