Monday 28 May 2012: Tangled up in black
Earthquakes...a photographers dream and a residents nightmare. Here we have the apartments on Rolleston Avenue, there were once 3 apartment buildings of around 12 stories high ( maybe more). Being only 30 metres from the Avon river...they probably didn't stand a chance. The first one came down real fast, this is what is left of two and three.
Woken again at 5am this morning by another shake...you do wonder whether they will ever just stop.
