Sunday 27 May 2012: Done
Up early and on my bike. It's been nearly a month since I've ridden (Rotorua excluded). Made it to the top of the Port Hills just in time for a massive front to come thru. Fierce wind and rain and enough to make us seek shelter. Once it somewhat abated we continued, completing the ride down Worsleys on a new "unofficial" track. It was pretty good.
Then into the final throes of the poptop project. We'll call that completed. New canvas, new panelling, new battery (and lighting system soon), replacement parts for the 30 year old stove. It's almost like new. Well, I do need to paint that fridge ;-)
And finally, out to dinner with friends. Good to catch up.
