Monday 28 May 2012: One Fine Day
So now that we live abroad
in a country where the sun shines
I'm going to take it easy.
I've cancelled the 1 p.m. meeting
with the Bank Manager
(he sounded relieved)
which means no driving.
I think there's some gin
in the back of the cupboard
and hope there's some tonic in the fridge.
There's an interesting sunlit pattern on the floor
I can photograph
and by upping the contrast
there's no sign of dust.
Done and dusted then.
Am I not cool?
Am I not hip?
(Though if I was really chilled
I wouldn't even blip).
