Battleship island ,Armadale,Isle of Skye

Armadale is a delightful hamlet on the southern end of the Isle if Skye with superb views across the Sound of Sleat, pronounced Slate, to Knoydart, Loch Nevis,Golden sands if Morar where the beach scenes in local hero were filmed , and on a clear day right down to Ardamurchan .here just before the township is a group of rocks known as battleship island.
