Monday 28 May 2012: my father-in-law
Today I went down to Timaru to a family funeral. We had a celebration of my father-in- law's life. He passed away last week-in his 95th year. He was a wonderful gentle man with a lovely sense of humour. It was a lovely service with many people telling anecdotes of his life. I have known him just on 40 years...I know I will miss his sharp mind and wit. The daffodils in the background of his photos were in the orchard on out farm,(in a previous life for me!!). There were many acres of them, over the years they had naturally cross pollinated. there were some lovely colours.
