First squirrel of the spring

Buddy and I went on an extended walk through downtown before church this morning.  This little guy probably isn't  the best image of the day, BUT I felt obligated to post this because I don't expect him to last long. Buddy was marking his territory on the other  side of this tree.  Neither seemed to care about the other.  I don't  think Mr. Squirrel is going to find as many nonchalant dogs as Buddy.  It only will take one encounter and I fear he will no longer be with us.
