One Crowded Hour

shelley beach

C and I head off to Denmark (the WA variety!) to pick up supplies for her new veggies garden and then to explore the coast that has now become her home.

Shelley Beach is one of many beautiful bays of white quartz and shell sandy beaches, turquoise water where you can walk and beach comb and share the cove with a fisherman or hardy swimmer and a handful of gulls.
From the lookout, hang gliders launch on a regular basis and this afternoon when we arrive a film crew is finishing off a day's shoot on a feature film 'Precipice'.
A young woman clad in black is being filmed and sound recorded and a bloke in what looks like Ranger's gear is sitting on the cliff edge looking bored.
We are told, by an equally bored looking duo munching on apples and gossiping, that we can have a look from the lookout but to 'freeze' when 'all quiet on set' is announced.

How thrilling!!
