Monday 28 May 2012: Popping poppies
My Oriental poppies are a bit late opening this year. I counted at least 13 buds on this one at various stages of development. It's another scorching hot day so we headed to the coast this afternoon. It was a few degrees cooler and made for pleasant walking on the beach.
